Sarah joins the Eden Alternative Board of Directors as an accomplished leader of innovation and as an expert in aging. She has spent more than 20 years dedicated to transforming the aging experience. As CEO of multiple enterprises - including consulting firm Delight by Design - Sarah helps create age-inclusive products, brands, spaces, and experiences that delight the consumer at every age.
“At Delight by Design we carefully help create products, experiences and brands that put the person in the center of the design. I’m honored to join the Eden board as they continue to place the resident at the center of senior care,” Sara told SeniorTrade. “My goal is to bring a tech-enhanced approach to Eden to help with growth and expansion of their important work.”
She has held key leadership positions across the US and Asia with a career spanning high-tech robotics, change management, post-acute care and as an accomplished speaker and author. She combines her Occupational Therapy expertise with her operational, clinical and entrepreneurial experience to inspire global improvements in design and systems innovation worldwide. A published author, she serves in multiple advisory positions, sits on numerous boards and is an accomplished keynote speaker.
Sarah serves as the Executive-in-Residence at Aging2.0 and is a principal consultant in Nexus Insights a firm specializing in aging transformation. She most recently led all commercial activity for Seismic Holdings - a Silicon Valley-based company shaping human potential through integration of apparel and robotics to augment human strength and performance. Sarah’s commercial expertise helped position the organization for esteemed recognition by the World Economic Forum, Fast Company, The Economist and CES.
